A steam accumulator is equipment that stores thermal energy by utilizing the heat storage capacity of water, and releases the energy in the form of saturated steam when required. It reduces fluctuations in thermal load and performs the unique function of peak shaving and valley filling to balance and absorb thermal loads. It can be applied to heating systems with large thermal load fluctuations, intermittent heat source systems, heating systems requiring stored steam for emergency use, and heating systems needing a large amount of steam instantaneously. After putting the steam accumulator into operation, the boiler can be guaranteed to run stably under optimal combustion conditions. In industrial boiler systems, if steam consumption fluctuates drastically, it will cause swings in boiler steam pressure and water level, making boiler operation difficult and lowering combustion efficiency. In such cases, the accumulator can effectively stabilize boiler load, improve operating conditions and prevent efficiency degradation.
