◎ Product Introduction:
The JYD type paddle dryer adopts heating on both outer shell and internal rotor, which greatly expands drying area, improves thermal efficiency and ensures thorough material drying. The machine consists of two or more intermeshing rotors inside a jacketed shell. Each rotor is fitted with multiple hollow fan-shaped paddles for heat transfer. Heating medium enters hollow rotating shafts and paddles through rotary joints mounted at shaft ends. After heat transfer and drying, condensate is discharged out of the machine via rotary joints. Key advantages are listed below:
— Low energy consumption: Indirect heating avoids massive heat loss by carrying air. The dryer shell is equipped with jacket and thermal insulation layer. For slurry materials, only 1.1–1.3 kg saturated steam is required to evaporate 1 kg water.
— Low system investment: Multi intermeshing shafts provide large heat transfer area within compact equipment footprint.
— Wide range of processable materials: With different heating media, it can dry both heat-sensitive materials and materials requiring high-temperature treatment. Common media include saturated steam, thermal oil, hot water, etc. It supports continuous or batch operation for versatile applications.
— Low operating cost: Simple structure results in very low maintenance cost.
